CGCI wins NGC "Help Membership Bloom" Contest
Congratulations to California Garden Clubs, Inc. for winning first place in National Garden Clubs, Inc. "Help Membership Bloom" contest. In recognition of CGCI having the highest percentage of new member garden clubs from June 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011, NGC proudly presented this citation and the naming rights for an African Violet (Saintpaulia) cultivar. The African violet named in CGCI's honor will be called "California Victory".
This semi-miniature African violet has semi-double white pansy-shaped blooms with wavy green edige and purple highlights randomly scattered on the flower face. Wavy medium-green foliage enhances its bloom, making it a wonderful addition to your collection. Since the company's smallest box holds 4 to 6 plants, we suggest that you combine orderes with other members to save on shipping and handling. See order form with photo of "California Victory" attached for easy downloading.
