Landscape Design Council Awards

The CGCI Landscape Design Council has the following awards available to be given at club/district meetings, CGCI fall/winter board meetings and conventions. Landscape Design Commendation - Awarded to individuals and groups by the CGCI Landscape Design Council for good land use.  The Commendation may be presented at any CGCI, club or district meeting (please allow at least one month for processing).  A council member must recommend nominee, but others may propose candidates to council members.

Award of Merit in Landscape Architecture - Awarded to landscape architects by the CGCI Landscape Design Council in recognition of excellence in land use on a commercial, public or residential project. Award may be given at any CGCI, club or district meeting (allow at least one month for processing).  A council member must recommend nominee, but others may propose candidates to council members.

Certificate of Appreciation, Recognition and/or Achievement - May be given to an individual or group who is neither a LD Consultant or landscape architect but has demonstrated outstanding skill in managing land use or has enthusiastically supported the Landscape Design Program of CGCI/NGC.  These Certificates may be given at the discretion of the LDC Chairman or upon the written recommendation of any Consultant.
