Water and Resource Conservation
Members are encouraged to plant California natives to promote the welfare of our native pollinators and to promote water conservation
Penny Pines
At every meeting, members are invited to donate to the Penny Pines Fund for the U.S. Forest Service to grow and plant tree seedlings in our local Angeles National Forest.
Public Garden Support
Burbank Community Gardens
We support City of Burbank’s Community Gardens through garden donations, monetary donations, and our members volunteer efforts. .
California Native Plant Society, Los Angeles Chapter
We support and donate to the educational efforts of the California Native Plant Society’s local chapter through annual donations.
Sylmar High School
The Sylmar Charter High School has an outstanding agriculture program, led by instructor Steve List. We greatly appreciate their donations of plants to our plant sales and we support them with annual cash donations.
Tree People
TreePeople’s mission is to inspire, engage and support people to take personal responsibility for the urban environment, making it safe, healthy, fun and sustainable and to share the process as a model for the world. We support their programs with cash donations.
Theodore Payne Foundation (TPF)
Theodore Payne Foundation is a nonprofit organization that inspires and educates Southern Californians about the beauty and ecological benefits of California native plants. We support their native plant nursery and educational outreach with our cash donations.
