The CGCI Online Calendar is a FREE member benefit for Club, District, APS and Affiliate "SPECIAL EVENTS" (flower shows, garden tours, fundraising events) open to the public.

PLEASE NOTE that regular monthly meetings are not included here.  If your District has a website,  contact the district website manager to request posting to their online calendar.

February 7: Palomar District Floral Design Forum:  Here Comes the Crowd of Designers This maybe your chance to score a special, unusual or a “one of a kind” container or arrangement from one of the areas wonderful designers. They are looking to lower their inventory. Don’t miss this program.
March 7:  Palomar District Floral Design Forum: Noel Tribby, AIFD, nation-wide special events and does the end cap designs in the Shinoda Design Center, Santa Ana.  Always educational and inspiring.
April 4: Palomar District Floral Design Forum:  “FLOWER POWER” Our most popular Program. Watch as 4 local college student designers race against the clock to complete a Surprise Package design from material, container and theme. Then, like a 3 ring circus, they show a “signature design,” a “round robin” and then a “wrap up” design.
April 23:  Temecula Valley Garden Club Flower Show & Plant Sale
9:00am – 4:00pm; Admission price Free; Temecula Community Recreation Center, 30875 Rancho Vista Road, Temecula, CA 92592. A NGC Standard Flower Show open to any amateur gardener, flower designer or photographer. Entries will be received and judged April 22, 2022. April 30-May 1:  Vista Garden Club 86th Standard Flower Show: “Shall We Dance”
Saturday:  12:00 pm-5:00 pm; Sunday: 10:00 am-4:00 pm; Admission: $ free. Jim Porter Recreation Center, Brengle Terrace Park, 1200 Vale Terrace Drive, Vista, CA 92084.  A Standard Flower Show open to the public. We will have Horticulture and Design Divisions as well as Botanical Arts, Photography. Plant Sale and Garden Art Boutique open both days. May 2: Palomar District Floral Design Forum: The “Grand Finale” is Mitsuko Takeya, Master Instructor O’Hara School of Ikebana. Enjoy the simplicity, meaning and grace of her designs. We are pleased that Mitsuko could fit us in between her many classes.
May 14:  Fallbrook Garden Club Garden Tour & Plant Sale
Saturday 9:am – 3:00pm. Fallbrook Historical Society Museum, 260 Rocky Crest, Fallbrook, CA 92028 (starting point; tickets and plant sale). Admission: $20 advance-$25 day of event. The Garden Tour & Plant Sale is a biennial event. Tour 5-6 beautiful gardens in the Fallbrook area. A large plant sale features everything from succulents, bedding plants, and vegetables plus something for everyone. Many of the plants have been propagated by members of the club. May 21:  Idyllwild Garden Club Annual Mountain Garden Tour 
Saturday: 10:00am – 3:00pm.  Idyllwild Area Historical Society and Museum, 54470 North Circle at Cedar, Idyllwild CA 92549.  Admission: $15. Self Guided tour of 6 unique mountain gardens, residential and public.Docents and owners showing visitors the creative ways they use the natural terrain, existing flora and native/non-native plants to enhance their homes. Tickets, including guide book,s will be available the day of the event, at the Historical Society, 54470 N.Circle, or at the Moument on Village Center Dr.and Park Ln.
